Invitations (Updated)

My sister Pam is having a baby shower in April so I said I would do the inviations. Attached are the invitations I am working on for her shower. I am making 66 baby shower invitations. She is having a very big shower.

I FINISHED MAKING ALL 66 BABY SHOWER INVITATIONS. I MAILED 50+ TODAY AND I WILL MAIL THE REST ON FRIDAY. I HAD TO STUFF AND ADDRESS THEM ALL AS WELL. I MUST ADMIT IT WAS FUN MAKING THE INVITATIONS.

Easter day pictures. The girls got matching dresses from Grandma Henry. They looked beautiful and they were pleased to show everyone their dresses.

Easter Egg Hunt!!

At our family easter the younger kids always get to go easter egg hunting. This year it was to muddy and cold so we did it inside. Now we do it a little different we get plastic eggs and fill them with change. Each of the kids gets a certain amount of eggs and some of them have dollars. Well Abby really didn't want to hunt the eggs but she had a little bit of help from her Aunt Alyssa. Makenzie was all over getting eggs even the one on her Uncle Steven's shirt, she was going to hang him to get the egg. Each of the girls got over $15.00 for their piggy banks.

Abby's Birthday Party!!!

WE celebrated Abby's birthday the Saturday before Easter at her Aunt Micki's house. Abby had so much fun and got lots of presents. She loved being the center of attention. Abby is now 3 oh my!! I can remember just 3 years ago being in the hosptial it being cold rainy and easter weekend. Abby spent her first easter in the hospital because she was jaundice. Now she is 3 and enjoying all the fun stuff.

Yes for those of you that are asking I gave in once again and we got another dog. This time we got a small dog I can handle him. His name is Aladdin (the other choice was Handsome that just didn't seem right). He is just a few months old. He is a terrier-shih zu mix we got him from a lady in northern kentucky who had been talked into him by her children (hum sound familiar) and well they weren't taken care of him. So now he has a new home.

Abby's 3rd Birthday CAKE!!

Well Abby asked for a pink and purple castle cake for her birthday cake. So I started looking for ideas and there are lots of ideas on the web for homemade birthday cakes. So I took some ideas and some of my own and here is how the cake started to where it was finished. For a begginer I thought it turned out cute for a kids birthday cake. Abby really liked it. Now they want to cut into it, but we have to wait till this afternoon when we take the cake to Northern kentucky for her party at our family Easter dinner.

RAIN!! RAIN GO AWAY!!!

Oh my the rain!!! I am ready for some warm weather and sun and no more rain. WHere is the sun and 60 degrees!!! Where is the warm weather Spring is coming thursday but where is the warm weather???????

First Soccer Practice

Well Makenzie had her first soccer practice tonight. She did very well for her first practice. She was really into making friends. She is my social butterfly. Daddy took her to her first practice while mommy went shopping for some shoes. But makenzie showed me what she learned and I must say for the first time really ever playing with a soccer ball she did pretty well. We are soccer parents now!!!

Soccer Mom!!!

Well it is official Makenzie is going to be playing spring soccer in Monroe this year. We had our first meeting tonight to find out when the practices and games are. We then went to target and got her soccer ball. She is excited. As we were leaving the parking lot I was telling Dan it is just beginning a busy life with children. Makenzie is just starting to get involved in things and it is really exciting to see her getting excited about it. I will post pictures of her first practice after we have it.

Keeping up with my blog!!

Ok so I am trying to keep up with my blog and let everyone know what is going on in the York house. Well not much or alot depending on how you look at it. Monday was a work day then we meet Dan's parents for dinner (they have left for a couple weeks of fun in the sun) then I had a meeting at church and stayed and talked till about 11:00 pm. Well then Tuesday I had to take my mom to the hospital for surgery while my sister took my dad for surgery (the surgeries went well and they are both home). So Tuesday day was spent waiting at the hospital then it was to Makenzie's Kindergarted orientation and then dinner and home at 8:30 pm. Then Wednesday it was Makenzie to school then to Target for some much needed supplies then to my parents for the girls to visit my mom and then home for dinner and then bed and oh yes I am blogginat 12:27 am.(thursday morning). This has been our week crazy crazy crazy. Sorry no pictures.

MORE SNOW!!

OK so last Friday they were forecasting us a big snow Storm. Honestly didn't think we would get but maybe and inch or so well was I wrong and they were right. Well I had gone to work and about 12:00 our bosses closed the office and sent us home because the snow was getting so bad. Well I went and got the girls that took about 45 minutes for a 15 minute drive and then it was home a half hour drive that took about 1 hour 15 minutes I made it home safe and sound in 2 hours. I really do not like to have to drive in snow. Well we were snowed in Friday night and all day Saturday church canceled on Sunday because the roads were so bad so about 11:30 we went to meet my parents for lunch at uno's and the roads up by us were still bad but we made it. We then went to my mom and dads and the girls played in the snow and went sledding and (I forgot my camera UGH!!!) but they had a good time but by the time we left it had warmed up so much were they had sledded earlier in the day was already showing grass. Today (march 12Th) it was 50 degrees man how the weather changes in just a couple days.

ABBY MOPPING!!!

Well I hope when the time comes that she really has to do this little chore she has as much fun doing it. Abby couldn't wait to help me mop the kitchen floor. I am starting to give the girls little chores and well I thought I would let them help mop sometimes. Well Makenzie had her turn last week and Abby found out I was going to mop ans she couldn't wait. And once I got the camera out she couldn't help but show off.
