Wacky Wednesday Award!

Wednesday I came home from work and Makenzie said "Mom it is Wacky Wednesday, I need to get wacky",  So we put together this outfit. Makenzie said "mom this is not Wacky enought" I told her I think it is just fine. Well as you can see she won the award for the wackiest in Sparks.  Thank you Amy Hasse for taking the picture and emailing me. Dan had to go to a concert for school so we missed it and I totally would of never forgot to take Makenzie's picture before I left Oh I guess this post should be on a Not Me Monday LOL...  Makenzie was so proud of her award.

I also purchase 2-3 papers per week.

Here a few things I have learned in my very short time of couponing.
- There is lots of help out there for you.
-Everyone does it a little different.
-TAKE ADVICE from those that have been doing this for awhile
-CVS and Walgreens coupons and ads scare me a little.
- This can be very addicting (but I believe this is a good addiction)
- LEARN FROM EVERYONE YOU CAN.

I have tried the index card box for sorting my coupons this is good if you don't have alot of coupons.
The Binder method seems to be the best way, and there are lots of ways to do this.
A few things I have learned or tried.
Use baseball card inserts for sorting your coupons.
I started sorting my coupons by sorting them by groceries, cleaning supplies, laundry, personal items.
Someone shared that she took pictures of the sign isles in krogers this is how she sorts her coupons.
These are just some examples and things I have learned that I would like share with you.

Couponing update

I have been couponing now for about 3 weeks I have upgraded to a binder and it makes it much easier to finding my coupons. Last week I went to Krogers Mega Sale and saved $121.00 that was 61% I was so excited, it made all my hours getting organized worth it.

Abby has been taking gymnastics at The Little Gym in Liberty Township since September and a week or so ago they had their "show week" Abby was so excited to perform for us and she also got a medal (her and sister have started to keep track of these) i have lots of pictures I will post here in the next couple days.

Also update on our house. It has been so exciting to see it transform from a hole in the ground to having walls to having a roof. We go tomorrow for our pre-drywall meeting this is to make sure all the outlets are where we want them and we don't want to add anymore. They should give us a firm date then on when we should expect to be finsihed it is so exciting. We are so ready to be back in our house and the girls will be so excited to get their things out of the pod.
