Crazy Sock Day!

This week is Spirit week at the girls school this week and they are excited to be apart.

Today was Crazy Sock Day!

Family and Thanks!

 I was just sitting here catching up on my blog readings and was reminded that sometimes we take things for granted in our lives.  I was able to carry two healthy babies to term (and even beyond). God blessed Dan and I with two beautiful healthy girls. But not every woman is able to conceive or carry a baby to term. God has given some of those women a heart for adoption. To take a child that is in need (for many different reasons) and love them and care for them and raise them as their child.  I am so thankful Dan's mom and dad were those parents they took Dan and raised him and loved him and made him into the man he is today (THANK YOU FRANK AND DORCAS for loving my husband)

So I was going through some of my old pictures and thought I would share .

Great Grandma!

The girls and my niece Payton with their Great Grandma Henry they love to all sit in her lap and if they can all do it yes at the same time. Grandma is also famous for scratching (rubbing) their backs and legs.  (grandma is only missing one great granddaugther Aubrey you will have to join the party in November)

Boating on the Ohio River

We went to Ripley a few weeks ago to my friend Kathy's house and went for a ride on the Ohio River. Abby was so excited after our ride she told Dan we needed a boat. Makenzie liked it when we went slow.

The wind was strong this day and Makenzie was laughing.

Children's Museum!

Couple of weeks ago we took the girls up to the Boonschoft Museum of Discovery.

Silly Time!

The girls enjoy Sunday evening snack time. Since our church doesn't have sunday evening services we make this time family time. Makenzie loves Cupcake wars on food network so we usually watch this and have popcorn. Here the girls were being goofy and posing for the camera. And yes showing their muscles.
