I have been a big slacker!!!

on my Blog that is.... Well to catch everyone up to the events that have been happening in the YORK home. For most of you probably now know that our power was out in Cincinnati and as of today some are still out. Sunday September 14th Cincinnati had a Hurricane come through the area. Dan and I had been planning on taking the girls somewhere unaware of the winds that were coming so as I was getting out of the shower and talking to my sister Pam the power goes out. Well that was the beginning of a very interesting few days. So we decided to head into my parents they had power (never lost theres) So we spent the day there (I took my stuff to fix my hair) so we arive safe and sound threw all that wind (it was rather rough drive down). So my sister Pam and I decide to go to wal-mart and check on my grandma Henry. Well we are driving around Norwood and well there are trees and electrical wire and well it was just unsafe. So we then have to go back to the other side of Norwood to get formula for her daughter and we see this guy mowing his grass with a HELMET ON HIS HEAD..... I laughed I must admit it was the funniest thing I had seen all day. So we arrive safe and sound at our next destination. Then we decide we will try to go to wal-mart unaware that no one had power. So we then arrive back at my mom and dads well since no one had power we needed something to eat. So we went to the only place open the Kroger's in Norwood mind you this place was a ZOO!!! So I get some things to make a pizza. Well after dinner Dan and I load the girls up and head home hoping we have power well we arrive to a very very dark neighborhood. So we decide to head into grandmas and spend the night she has power so I am packing some things in the dark. So we arrive down there safe and sound. We wake up Monday morning to still 1 million people without power so no work for us. Neither company had power. Dan was unable to work till Wednesday (he drove to Dayton office on this day) They finally got power back in their office on Wednesday afternoon. I went to work Wednesday. Makenzie was suppose to go to school this day but since we had no power and we were still at grandmas she had to miss. So Wednesday night we head to Dan's parents since they have power so Makenzie doesn't have to miss another day of school. Finally around 12:30 on Thursday we have power. I will do another blog later with some pictures.
