COUSINS!!!!!!

My cousin Mike and his wife  Pam are Missionaries to Burkino Faso (Africa) they are home for the year traveling to check in with Church's and raise additional support. They were in Cincinnati this week visiting my grandma so we have had a great week catching up and the kids hit it off. Abby and Aubrey played and played and played and did I mention they played.

Tuesday evening Mike and Pam and the kids came out for dinner and Pam and I got to go and do a little shopping while Mike and Dan watched the kids and were able to catch up on the last 4 years. We came back to the girls performing and Makenzie and Blake dancing. They were so tired that evening they just crashed. Thursday we were able to go down to my grandmas for a bit before we all got together that evening with extended family to catch up on Mike and Pam's ministries. Friday we had another family day and finally I remembered to get my camera out to take some pictures. Here are some pictures of the kids.

Swim Lessons

The girls have taken swim lessons the past two weeks at the Lakota Hills pool. Makenzie LOVES swimming. She first wanted to know "why she needed swim lessons? She already knows how to swim." Makenzie has learned alot in the last two weeks and has done an awesome job. The day before her last lesson for this session she treaded water for 3 minutes just to be able to jump off the diving board, her nana said she did an awesome job. She has improved. We will continue with lessons the next two weeks.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July we went to church, then headed to my parents for our family celebration.

Makenzie's Last T-ball Game

Here are some pictures of Makenzie's last t-ball game. She had alot of fun playing this year. With Vacation me missed a few games but she was sad her season was over. She really enjoyed this game.

Last days in Florida

After our week in Orlando we headed back to my sisters for a few extra days. Dan flew back home on Sunday and the girls and I stayed through Thursday. The week we stayed Florida was breaking record highs it was sooooo HOT. Going swimming in my sisters pool was like taking a bath not refreshing but the girls enjoyed it.  Here are a few pictures of our time at the beach.

One afternoon the girls and I headed to the beach to build a "sand castle" It was so hot this was our sorry attempt before we headed back to the pool.

I had gone in the house to do something and come back out and Abby is swimming "like a boy" in her shorts... She was having a blast she learned to hold her breath and go under water.

SEA WORLD Second Visit

After our first day at sea world we had a game plan on our second trip, first thing we did was headed to the kiddy area where we were just about the only ones there so the girls got to ride everything about as many times as they wanted. It was funny watching them get off of a ride and running to get back in line and sometimes never getting off the ride. "Best Plan"

After the show at Shamu Stadium we went and had lunch then headed over to the Sea Lion/otter show it was hilarious. The girls really enjoyed this show.

After all the rides and shows we wanted to go back and see the dolphins we figured they were already done feeding them but No it was time so we decided we would go and see if we had time and well we did here are some pictures. It was so neat to get to touch the dolphins and feed them. Makenzie and Daddy had a great time. Abby would NOT touch a dolphin or touch the food "she wanted a piece of paper" Mommy even feed the dolphins I mus say it was pretty cool experience.

On friday my sister took the girls to Disney for  their birthday presents this year. So Dan and I had the whole day to spend together it was a very nice relaxing day and we ended it at Downtown Disney with  Dinner at Planet Hollywood and a nice walk.

We picked the girls up from my sister at her hotel Friday night Abby had fallen asleep in their car so Dan picked her up put her in our car and carried her all the way up to our room and put her to bed and this how she was. Still Asleep. She had fun at Disney and was exhausted.

I had to make sure I took a picture of our room "Makenzie wanted to remember it." So here is the bath tub and shower and sink it was very nice and the last is the bathroom we all had some fun times talking about the bathroom. Abby would say she washed her bottom everytime she came out.
